The City will need significant staffing to educate, enforce, and adjudicate a myriad of confusing and conflicting provisions that will be impossible to implement. Even if you could find the funding for multiple staff members to manage the program, they will fail due to the complexity of the proposal. The measure was written by organizers outside Olympia, without input from city leaders. If it passes, city leaders won’t be able to change it to fit local needs.
